Jessica Jimerson (born 1990) in San Diego California, is oldest child of three Angela and Tiffany, born to Annette P. Jimerson. Jimerson is an American, Digital Artist who is noted for her many published books, comic books and video games.〔 Primarily working in 3D Modeling and Colorist roles,〔 she also does raster as well as vector works, primarily portraits. The first year of Jimerson's college attendance, Westwood College program director John Hebard described her work as "quality and technique, comparable to that of a well-seasoned professional illustrator of national status." -John Hebard.〔 Jimerson has worked on both 2D and 3D games in a variety of positions ranging from art lead, to environment artist, texture artist, animation and level design.〔〔 Studio work includes I-Zombie via Random Otaku, Left to Rot via Panzer Gaming Studios,〔 New World via Dark Wing Studios and several smaller flash games, such as Space Rampage and Panco Perry.〔 ==Biography== Jimerson knew from the young age of twelve that she aspired to be a digital artist, focused towards game art and design.〔 She drew off inspiration from her mother Annette P. Jimerson, who's fine art surrounded her growing up, leading to an early appreciation of art.〔 Her early works primarily consisted of character concepts, followed by a love of story writing to occasionally giving the characters back stories. Jimerson attended Westwood College in 2009, for Game Art and Design at the young age of nineteen, during her time in college she won several awards,〔 and features in various art competitions. Including her first place win in the Cengage Learning, Media Arts & Design: Contest,〔 earning a published critique from renown authors Annesa Hartman and Christ Botello on her win, saying her self-portrait "crosses over into what we would call art. It's deeply personal, and it moves us to a real emotion. The use of black as negative space to simultaneously convey hair and fragmentation like broken shards of a splintered mirror is transcendent. Bravo!". As well as and her second place win at MAGD EXPO for Best Indie Game Award, for Left to Rot.〔 Working multiple projects while in college Jimerson entered into the professional world of both digital art, and comic books, she later graduated with honors in 2012, earning her bachelor's degree in Science.〔 She has also since written several books including the novel Vampire Love, a poetry book Solstice Moon which primarily regards the cycles of life and a children book A Pretty Red Flower with a Single Thron. In addition her artistic abilities are also featured in six other books, one being the Agape Coloring Activity Prayers Puzzle, which was written and illustrated by her grandmother Jessie Phillips.〔 However Jimerson is most noted for being a comic colorist, having worked on more than thirty-two comic books and counting, doing lettering as well.
